Damn! That wind sounds terrible! Here in California it is super cold. It’s usually about 45F (7.2C) now and it’s 23F (5C). I think cell phones for young kids is a mixed bag but could be a good thing. They can call you if they get lost or have an emergency. If they were kidnapped or seperated from you at the mall, it would give them some sort of lifeline. But young young kids like 5-8. that’s just askin’ for trouble. They’d probably trade it for chocolate milk. Enjoyed the cast this morning-and hearing my comment!

Young kids and cells? They make those special phones that only allow the kid to call a few numbers. Considering how hectic family schedules are, I don’t see how a phone like that wouldn’t be helpful.
I agree completely with SBA….it has been cold here in Los Angeles CA. 39 (4C) overnight low temp…That rarely happens in L.A. Global warming? I think so.
